The Project Overview We recently completed a comprehensive website refresh and platform migration for Fraser Medals. To improve scalability and backend management, we successfully transitioned their entire e-commerce operation from OpenCart to a modern, robust WooCommerce architecture.
Key Improvements:
- Modernized UI/UX: We replaced the cluttered, text-heavy layout and cramped sidebar with a clean, full-width, and visually engaging design.
- Streamlined Navigation: We implemented an intuitive, straightforward top navigation menu alongside a prominent, centralized search bar, making it incredibly easy for collectors to search the catalog.
- Enhanced Branding & Trust: The new homepage utilizes high-quality, thematic imagery and introduces clear trust badges right at the bottom of the hero section (Secure Payment Processing, Free Global Shipping, Expert Valuation & Purchasing).
- Optimized E-commerce Flow: The header now features a clean currency selector (supporting CAD, GBP, USD, etc.) and a clearly visible cart, removing friction from the purchasing process.
The result is a professional, trustworthy, and highly functional online storefront tailored perfectly to buyers and sellers of authentic military medals.
